The Fuel Strategy Business is responsible for all aspects of the Company’s fuel-related businesses, including next-generation marine fuels.
We are responsible for the stable procurement of marine fuels and lubricants required for our operating fleet, securing reliable supply across ports worldwide.
In addition to conventional heavy fuel oil and marine gas oil, we are actively promoting the procurement of LNG and Biofuels, which have a lower impact on environment. We are also advancing initiatives to accommodate next-generation fuels such as methanol and ammonia.
We are responsible for the supply of next-generation fuels such as LNG and ammonia, which have a lower impact on environment compared with conventional fuels like heavy fuel oil and marine gas oil in Japan and overseas as well.
Furthermore , we are actively involved in the development of new businesses, including hydrogen carriers, to support the wider adoption and advancement of clean energy solutions.
