Annual Report 2011 Wins a Platinum Award in the
LACP Vision Awards 2010/11 Competition
The “K” Line Annual Report 2011 (English edition), the most recent edition of the report Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. issues each year containing comprehensive information about its management and operations, received the Platinum award presented to the top-ranking company in the Transportation and Logistics category in the Vision Awards 2010/11 annual report competition sponsored by the League of American Communications Professionals (LACP)*. Following a multifaceted judging process that considers factors including the message to the shareholders, financial reports and the communication theme, the report ranked 57th overall out of more than 600 entries from around the world.
The award follows receipt of a special award in the in the Abridged Edition category of 14th Nikkei Annual Report Awards 2011**, an annual report competition in Japan sponsored by Nikkei Inc., publisher of The Nihon Keizai Shimbun.
