“K” LINE Supports Flood-Affected Areas in the Republic of Mozambique

Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. (“K” LINE) announces it will donate USD10,000 to support the people and communities affected by the heavy rains in the Republic of Mozambique, aiming to contribute to the humanitarian and recovery efforts in the affected areas.

 

Since October 2025, heavy rains have caused damage in multiple regions across the Republic of Mozambique. In particular, heavy rains in southern Mozambique in January 2026 caused extensive and severe damage that has affected people’s lives and livelihoods.

 

“K” LINE expresses its deepest condolences to the families of the people whose lives have been lost, and it extends its heartfelt sympathies to all those affected by this disaster. The company sincerely hopes that the disaster-stricken areas are able to recover as quickly as possible.
