Establishment of "K" LINE SHIPPING (SOUTH AFRICA) PTY LTD

KAWASAKI KISEN KAISHA, LTD. has established its own shipping agency in South Africa as a joint venture together with THE BIDVEST GROUP LIMITED. New company is to be known as "K" LINE SHIPPING (SOUTH AFRICA) PTY LTD, and commences operations from July 1, 2009. Head office is in Durban, and has branch offices in Johannesburg and Cape Town.

In recognition of the South African market as a strategic sector with its high potential of economic development and foreign trade growth, we believe that "K" LINE SHIPPING (SOUTH AFRICA) PTY LTD will provide ever-more-sophisticated service to all of our customers.

"K" LINE SHIPPING (SOUTH AFRICA) PTY LTD will assume all agency activities for KAWASAKI KISEN KAISHA, LTD. in South Africa, which Rennies Ships Agency(Pty) Ltd,,a member of BIDVEST group, engaged in during the past.
