| Very Large Containership New-Building Program |

Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. ("K" Line), Tokyo, is proud to announce that it has
decided to place an order for 4 more 8000TEU type containerships, which will enable "K"
Line to make even further improvements in its service quality and competitiveness in
East-West global trades.
This latest order reflects "K" Line’s wish to further encourage even better service
quality for its customers. These new-buildings will be delivered from 2008 through
2009.
Type of ownership scheme, including third party as vessel owner, is still being
reviewed. |
