| "K" Line appoints its agency in Russia |

| Effective March 1st 2005, Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha,
Ltd. ("K" Line) has appointed MET Limited as its agency in Russia, which has its main
office in St. Petersburg and branch offices in Moscow, Ekaterinburg and Novorossiysk, and
which will enable "K" Line to offer more comprehensive and localized services for its
customers. |

| In addition, effective April 1st 2005, "K"
Line will also appoint a Russian Business Development Manager within "K" Line Europe’s
offices in London, which are responsible for the European and Mediterranean Region, in
order to further reinforce "K" Line’s commitment to increase its business activities
in Russia. |
