| Establishment of "K"Line Agency
Companies in Belgium |

| Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. ("K"Line) are pleased
to announce that effective January 1, 2004 a new "K" Line agency company in
Belgium will be established in a joint venture agreement with the present local agent. In
Europe "K" Line already has an owned agency network in the UK, France, Germany
and the Netherlands. With the establishment of the Belgium Agency, "K"Line’s
standing in the European market will be further enhanced. |
