| "K" Line Air Service (Thailand), Expanding "Chiangmai Express Service" |

Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. ("K" LINE) and
"K" Line Air Service, Ltd. (KLAS) are pleased to announce the expansion of KLAS’
Chiangmai Express Service, which is land transportation and through-connection service by
truck provided for air-freight cargo originated from and/or destined to Chiangmai area
linking various cities in the world via Bangkok International Airport. The Chiangmai
Express Service has been providing regular overnight truck transportation service 3 times
a week between Bangkok International Airport and Chiangmai. Now, KLAS offers their
upgraded service 6 times a week, so that customers can use most appropriate flight among
the various airlines.
Furthermore, by this service expansion, Chiangmai Express Service is now able to offer
connecting service for sea-freight as well, in addition to air-freight, thanks to newly
granted entrance permission into Bangkok Port bonded area. |
