| “K” LINE to Open Re-structured Kansai Branch |
| |
| Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. (hereunder referred to as “K” LINE) takes pleasure in
reporting that its Osaka and Kobe Branch Offices are to be consolidated into a newly
re-structured Kansai Branch, effective July 1, 2002. |
|
| As a result of the new branch being located close to port, the present two sales teams
in the Osaka Branch will be able to have closer coordination with the front-line shipping
work. This will enable “K” LINE to further solidify its system in which every piece of
front-line information can be expediently supplied to customers, thereby allowing the
carrier to upgrade its information service capabilities. In the meantime, customer service
at the new Kansai Branch will be reinforced, enabling sales staff to dedicate themselves
to customer calls, having been placed closer to the market. Additionally, near the present
Osaka Branch an Osaka Office will be installed where the series of shipping documentation
work related to ocean bills of lading and delivery orders can be efficiently carried out. |
