Exchange Arrangement between “K”Line and Hanjin |

| Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. (“K” Line), Tokyo and Hanjin Shipping Company, Ltd. (Hanjin), Seoul are proud to announce their agreement to implement slot exchange arrangement between Asia and Pacific Northwest of North America effective from middle of December 2001, subject to approval of relevant authorities. | ||||||
| This new slot exchange arrangement will allow “K”Line to charter space on Hanjin’s PNX Service and Hanjin to charter space on “K” Line’ | ||||||
| Ports of call and rotation are as follows: | ||||||

(Sun/Mon) / Nagoya (Mon/Tue) / Tokyo (Tue/Wed) / Tacoma (Thu/Fri) / Vancouver (Sat/Sun) / Portland (Mon/Tue) / Tokyo (Fri/Sat) / Nagoya (Sat/Sun) / Kobe (Sun/Mon) / Hong Kong (Thu) *“K” Line PNW Service start calling Kobe (Eastbound). |

| Their Partner, Yang Ming Marine Transport Corp., will also share slots on these two services. COSCO Container Lines, Ltd., who already share slots on “K” Line’s service, will continue this arrangement. | ||||||
