"K"Line and SITC to Launch North China / Japan Service

Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. ("K"Line) and SITC Container Lines (SITC) are pleased to announce that steps are underway for the launching of North China (Xingang, Dalian) / Japan service from October 22, 2003.

With the ever-increasing International Trade to and from China since that country became a member of WTO, the trade between North China (Xingang, Dalian) and Japan ports is now being focused with highest concern. This service will provide both quality and fast transit time by separation of Eastern Part (Kanto and Nagoya) and Western Part (Kansai) loops, respectively, with Xingang and Dalian (Butterfly style).

  3. Calling Ports, Day of the week and Rotation
    Xingang (Wed/Thu) - Dalian (Thu/Fri) - Tokyo (Tue/Tue) - Yokohama (Tue/Wed) - Nagoya (Wed/Thu) - Xingang (Mon/Tue) - Dalian (Tue/Wed) - Moji (Fri/Fri) - Osaka (Sat/Sat) - Kobe (Sun/Sun) - Xingang
  4. Commencement of Service

    1st Voyage Oct 22 (Wed) Xingang Bunga Mas Tiga KLine
    2nd Voyage Oct 29 (Wed) Xingang Bunga Mas Empat KLine
    3rd Voyage Nov 5 (Wed) Xingang Bunga Mas Dua SITC
  5. This service will also handle container cargo trade to / from Xingang, Dalian other than that with Japan Ports (such as to / from North America, Europe, South and East Asia and others) by connecting with operations of "K"Line's existing service network either at Kobe or Tokyo.
  6. This service will replace "K"Line's current Dalian / Japan Port service.
