"K" LINE Enhances PNW Service Starting New All-Water Service

Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. ("K" LINE) is pleased to announce that it will enhance its Asia/US services as from December this year with the delivery of brand-new Panamax containerships.

"K" LINE will enhance its PNW service by deploying newly built high-speed 4000TEU Panamax containerships. At the same time, "K" LINE will add one more all water loop (AWE4) to the existing CKYH three weekly sailings by deploying total of 8 vessels. All water service to U.S. East Coast will be further enhanced with 4 strings of services by maximizing port coverage as well as offering adequate space to this growing market.

Husky Terminal, "K" LINE Group company's own operated terminal in Tacoma, WA, will relocate to the adjacent new facility next summer and expand its size from 33 acres to 74 acres, more than double the present size to cope with growing demand.

By these enhancements at the terminal in Tacoma and new vessel deployment, "K"LINE will be able to offer higher quality and stable service to U.S. East Coast and PNW, the growing and energetic areas for logistics to U.S.A.

Port rotation of respective service is as follows;

Yantian (Wed/Thu) - Hong Kong (Thu/Thu) - Kobe (Mon/Mon) - Nagoya (Tue/Tue) - Tokyo (Wed/Wed) - Tacoma (Thu/Sat) - Vancouver (Sun/Mon) - Tokyo (Wed/Thu) - Nagoya (Fri/Fri) - Kobe (Sat/Sat) - Yantian
